Vintage Violence

Just saw John Cale in the supermarket. I have to admit that I was rather starstruck. The sighting had added intensity as the day before I'd had lengthy discussions about Cales viola contributions on the Velvet Underground & Nico with our illustrious string arranger. I thought we were talking about Heroin and he thought we were talking about Venus in Furs. But it all worked out for the best. What else? I'm enjoying being the new Lindsey Buckingham if only for the beard and perm. Just added 3 pictures. I am tired, I am weary I could sleep for a thousand years, Tusk sx |

Corridor - Good name for a band
Still recording - month 23. On Tuesday I decided to resume life as a poet when this had been completed. On Thursday I thought maybe I'd become a record producer - but only when I finished here. I did venture out one day - perhaps Monday and bought the latest Greil Marcus epistle Like a Rolling Stone: Bob Dylan at the Crossroads. A very good book from a very good bookshop (Skylight on Vermont). Then I ordered a "Hippie" sandwich from Freds 62. It was a day out in the Los Angeles vicinage listening to Slim Harpo and disc one of Soul in the 20th Century. I have been reunited with my Sony Cybershot so I will resume my position in the community known only as photolog. My latest contributions are a selection of images captured digitally in the corridor of the studio we have just vacated - enjoy. sx |
