hereford ticket requests
hello folks

this week i’ll go in for day four of recording the next stephen duffy / lilac time album – it sounds great and i’m greatly enthused by it. it will be out this year even if not by the time of the green man festival.

Hereford Performance August 16th 2007 & other things
tickets for the hereford leg of the lilac times world tour will be available only to those on the lilac time mailing list. sign up now and next week you will receive an invitation to buy tickets. the venue is intimate so most of the tickets will be allocated by lottery - we will however take into consideration those of you travelling from afar to see us there and at the green man festival. no tickets will be available on the door or from any other web sites or hostelries. fine wines and ale will be available if we work out how to do that. hereford is on a train line that runs from paddington in london. after hereford you will find wales. first great western run trains every day – it’s quite easy i have done it myself – sandwiches and drinks are for sale in the buffet car. between malvern link station stop and great malvern if you look up at the hills and know what you are looking for you can see the house we recorded astronauts in.

The Lilac Time for these shows will be Michael Giri on drums and vocals Mickey Harris on bass Melvin Duffy on pedal steel guitar Claire Worrall on piano autoharp and vocals Nick Duffy on instruments and Stephen Duffy on guitar and vocals. This line up is still considering playing a London show but this is still completely theoretical.

i’ll be playing around a bit when the new album comes out - not with the whole band - but i promise it wont just be hamburg and cecil sharpe house. distribution for the album is almost tied up – but we’re still interested in interest if you’re interested. we still haven’t got anything for the americas which is a drag – tell your ma and tell your pa x
