the band have all been found alive and well (well alive) - they are keen to try and help me remember the tunes - entertain themselves and perhaps you.
as well as hereford (for which tickets will only be available through this site) and the green man festival we are thinking of doing a london performance a couple of weeks after we have recuperated and convalesced after the heights of the breacon beacons.
i am working on 12 songs and they will be ready to record in april - there are now several options being mulled over that will enable you purchase the new stephen duffy/lilac time album - after which a smaller group of lilacs will hopefully come to your town - that is if you live somewhere enchanting and someone pays for us to get there - this could be seen as a foolhardy promotional enterprise but in the future it will be viewed as the moment we single handedly arrested the decline of the international music industry and perhaps western culture itself.
the film project that started at cecil sharpe house continues too - we're filming and recording everything - i have been practicing saying pompous pretentious and obtuse circumlocutions in an effort to offend you - as i put it in one of my earlier songs "most of my heroes don't appear on no stamps".

The Green Man Festival

The Lilac Time will be on stage at the Green Man festival Friday August the 17th at 7.15. Tickets available here. We will be warming up the evening before in Hereford - tickets will be available here nearer to the date. x |
