so from the home of ingmar bergman we fly to the birthplace of søren kierkegaard. perhaps more famous in my suitcase as the man who named elliot smiths best album - either/or - but you've got to love someone who says "my depression is the most faithful mistress i have known - no wonder, then, that i return the love." it makes me think one day i might write another song. but then isn't angst really nothing but impatience? perhaps our week here will bring me closer to søren. but then in göteborg i didn't go to the hasselblad museum or get closer to ingmar bergman. . . but i did partake in the entertainment of many thousands of swedes and nords too - as you can see in the ever expanding photo's section - i hope you like the picture of my hot cake x |
